Experimenting with Photoshop

Hello everyone,

So I have recently been experimenting with using photo shop in my computers class so I thought I would share it on here. In past posts I have discussed how I have been using illustrator but this week we were using photo shop. The tools that are in photo shop are quite similar to illustrator but there are some new tools that I got to experiment with.

I started off by experimenting with creating a background and making new layers, I chose to make the background a purple colour which I would then experiment on top of. 

After I had created a new layer to work on I started to use the brush tool to make a pattern over the top. I changed the brush shape and colour to make different textures and shapes. I also changed the the opacity of the layer so that you can see the other colours through it.

This is my finished experimental page that I created in photo shop. I really enjoyed experimenting with the different tools and seeing how I could use the different tools that they had.
