Double exposure photography using photoshop

Hello everyone,

So in my last posts I discussed the different techniques and skills I had started to us in photoshop and in this post I am going to share another technique that I learn last lesson.

To create my double exposure image on photoshop I had to create a mask layer where I would have the image I wanted to fill the models face. I also had to adjust the contrast in the image using the curves bar so that the design stood out more and you can see the contrasts in the image. I wanted to be able to see some more of the detail that was in the original image, such as the hair, to do this I went to the blending tool and went multiply.

Here you can see my final image that I produced using double exposure. I really like how this turned out as I think it is interesting how you can see some of the detail of the original image through the texture/colours over the top. I did find this a bit confusing to do at first as there are lots of different steps that you need to do but I think with practice I would be able to do this easier.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my work and thank you for reading.
